Privacy Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you have already dismissed a notice. Similar technologies such as local storage work in much the same way, and are covered by this policy too.

Cookies used on this site

Strictly necessary

These are required for the website to work. They handle things like page delivery, form submission, and basic security. Because the site cannot function without them, they are set automatically and cannot be switched off.

This site is built and hosted on Webflow, which sets a small number of cookies for these purposes. Webflow's own documentation describes them in detail.

Functional

These remember choices you make so the site behaves consistently — for example, keeping a preference between visits. They are not used to track you across other websites.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, these help measure how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and where they leave. The purpose is to improve the site, not to identify you personally.

Third-party embeds

Some pages embed content from external services such as YouTube and Spotify. When you load a page containing an embed, that service may set its own cookies. Those cookies are controlled by the service, not by this website, and are governed by that service's own policies.

How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period — anywhere from a few days to a couple of years, depending on their purpose — or until you delete them.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you see what is stored, delete cookies individually or in bulk, and block cookies from specific sites or from all sites. The relevant settings are usually found under Privacy or Security.

Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site — and most other sites — from working properly. Blocking only third-party cookies is usually a safer middle ground.

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
  • Safari: Settings, then Privacy.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security.
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it, and this site does not currently change its behaviour based on that signal.

Changes to this policy

As the site changes, the cookies it uses may change too. Any updates will appear on this page, with the date at the top revised accordingly.
